Tips to Find A Good Camping Site
You might already have a favourite spot, but if you’re new to camping or you’re looking for somewhere different to camp, it may pay to check out the following:
- Free camping sites (Facebook, etc).
- Camper magazine
- Research online – do a Google search.
- Word of mouth – talk to friends or family and see where they recommend.
Camping with A Difference
While we can’t quite get out there yet, there’s no harm in getting ready. You may notice things will look a little bit different than they did before but the idea of camping will likely be very much the same.
- There will be a lot more people getting out there and checking out this amazing country! So you may have to share your favourite spots with others.
- People may be cautious, which is a good thing. Just keep your distance where possible.
- You will probably see a lot more hand sanitiser and also be packing it yourself!
Planning Tips For When Restrictions Are Lifted
- Do lots of research while you are waiting at home.
- Some national parks etc are open now – just not for camping. Maybe go and check them out now and see what you could be in for.
- You’ll find lots of blogs and information online and in magazines.
- Make sure you are prepared.
- Order your camper/trailer now so it’s ready to be picked up when restrictions are lifted so you won’t have to wait!!!
