Before you invest in a big purchase like a hybrid camper, think about the features that will improve your experience on the road. You have unique needs, so take time to identify how you travel and what features will make your life simpler and more enjoyable.
Once you have a handle on those needs, you can think about add-ons that cover your wants – either way, you’re sure to find the perfect hybrid camper for you. Here, we’ll highlight all the JAWA Hybrid Camper models and discuss their distinctive features to streamline the shopping process.
Before getting started, though, our expert Karen has some clever advice for you:
“Before you get hung up on interior décor, the biggest consideration for anyone choosing a hybrid off-road camper is handling. I spent 35 years as a specialist in automotive handling in Sydney, so when we took on JAWA Campers that was our first priority – to develop Australia’s best ‘handling’ off-road trailer.”
Let’s start your adventure!
The Fleet of JAWA Hybrid Campers
Do you want a hybrid camper with an ensuite? An internal dinette? An extra bunk? How much sleeping space do you need? Do you want a pop-top to improve ventilation or a pop-out so you can tow something smaller but still enjoy extra space on arrival? Storage is another big consideration, especially if you are into surfing, paddle boarding, or have another activity you engage in on the road.
There’s a lot to consider, we run down each member of our hybrid camper fleet.
“I see novice hybrid camper buyers wanting to sacrifice key elements like storage space or water tank size for bulky furniture that in all likelihood, they’ll never use,” says Karen.
“After forty years of exploring Australia, I can tell you, you’ll want to feel confident you’ve got enough water, long before you wish you had a recliner and a DVD cabinet.”

Hybrid Campers with Toilets
A toilet should be a must-have if you’re travelling in a camper, the last thing you want is to worry about how clean a service station’s facilities are when you can use your own. That is precisely why all JAWA’s hybrid campers come standard with toilets.
Hybrid Campers with Ensuite
In addition to all JAWA’s hybrid campers featuring toilets, they all feature an internal ensuite too. They also all come complete with an external shower facility, with a KickAss shower tent included. Whether you prefer the JAWA Stealth 10 or the JAWA Stealth 12, you can enjoy the same benefits. Likewise, the JAWA Stealth 15 Solid, JAWA Low-Down 13, JAWA Infinity Escape, or JAWA Sirocco.
When it comes to creature comforts, you can rely on every JAWA model to deliver the minimum, which is a toilet, an internal shower, and an external shower with privacy! A camper should be a home away from home and JAWA has made sure these ‘luxuries’ are included as standard.
Hybrid Campers with ‘Pop Tops and Pop Outs’
A pop top has several benefits, even if there is just a party of one in your camper. While the roof is up, you can enjoy extra standing room. It also provides you with more efficient air circulation, which means your camper is better ventilated. A pop out also provides you with additional space, but when it’s popped in, you have a smaller haul to tow, making it easier to transport.
The Low-Down 13 comes with a pop top and a pop out for plenty of extra space, whatever size your travel group is.
You can benefit from the Infinity Escape’s pop out if you want additional space. It’s 15 feet when it comes time to tow, but you can pop it out to an impressive 18 feet!
If you’re interested in a simple pop top, then the Sirocco Grande has it – comfortably sleeping two in the queen bed plus an extra when the table area is converted to a single bed.
Hybrid Campers with Extra Bunks
If you travel with friends or as a family, then you’ll probably want the additional space that comes with an extra bunk. It’s ideal for privacy, especially if you have teenagers. If there are just two of you hitting the road, you don’t need to worry about extra bunks!
The Low-Down 13 has a permanent bunk in addition to the Queen bed, and it’s located directly adjacent to the ensuite. If you’re travelling with a friend or a child, the Low-Down 13 is the ideal camper purchase.
The Infinity 15 offers two permanent bunks with storage cupboards under the lower bunk. This is in addition to the existing King bed. And with the fully enclosed 4.5m full length annexe the Infinity is perfect for family off road adventures.
Hybrid Campers with Extra Storage
Storage space generally comes at a premium, but it just so happens that many JAWA hybrid campers come standard with extra storage.
The Stealth 10 offers internal storage, as well as an external storage box.
There is plenty of storage to be had in the Stealth 12, there’s an entire section reserved for storage trays.
In addition to a standard inclusion wardrobe, there’s also an external storage box.
The Low-Down 13 provides external storage.
There are plenty of cupboards, wardrobe space, and external storage too.
The Sirocco features internal wardrobes and cupboards, excess storage, and external storage as well.
Hybrid Campers with King Size Bed
If you want to travel in supreme comfort, then a king-size bed might be a must for you – so, which JAWA model can give you just that? Take your pick from two hybrid campers that offer you the spacious comfort of home.
Hybrid Campers That Can Be Stored in a Standard Garage
Whether you live in an area with limited street parking, or a small driveway or you simply wish to keep your camper in pristine condition – garage storage might be a crucial factor for you. In which case you might prefer to opt for our model that you can store in a standard garage!
As a pop out and pop top, the Low-Down 13 delivers heaps of space, but you can still pop it in your standard garage.
